How to Set a Username on Telegram Messenger:

1. Launch the Telegram desktop app and make sure to sign in with your account.
2. Click the menu icon at the upper-left corner of your screen and select Settings.
3. Click Edit profile.
4. On your information page, click Add username.
5. Enter your new username on the empty field and check if it's available for use.

To mute:   1. At first, open BiP messenger on your phone.  2. Long press on the conversation which notifications you want to mute.  3. Then you will see some new options at the top. Tap the mute icon. Now choose how long you want to mute notifications for this conversation.  4. You can mute it for a specific period of time or you can mute it permanently. Then tap on OK. And the notifications for this conversation are muted permanently.  To unmute any conversation, long press on it. From the menu that appears, tap on the sound icon. And the conversation is now unmuted.
