How to Mention Someone on WhatsApp Group Chat:

1. If you're in a group with someone, you can mention them in a message by typing the “@” symbol and selecting the contact's name from the list. 
2. When you mention someone, they will see an “@” symbol notification in their chats list next to an unread message.

To mute:   1. At first, open BiP messenger on your phone.  2. Long press on the conversation which notifications you want to mute.  3. Then you will see some new options at the top. Tap the mute icon. Now choose how long you want to mute notifications for this conversation.  4. You can mute it for a specific period of time or you can mute it permanently. Then tap on OK. And the notifications for this conversation are muted permanently.  To unmute any conversation, long press on it. From the menu that appears, tap on the sound icon. And the conversation is now unmuted.
