How To Use Star Messages In Whatsapp : 

1. Just long press on a message and, on the menu that appears on the top; tap on Star. 
2. This will mark the message as starred. This is exactly like marking the message with a Bookmark or as a favorite.
3. Later, when you wish to find a starred message, all you have to do is go to the menu and tap on starred messages.

To mute:   1. At first, open BiP messenger on your phone.  2. Long press on the conversation which notifications you want to mute.  3. Then you will see some new options at the top. Tap the mute icon. Now choose how long you want to mute notifications for this conversation.  4. You can mute it for a specific period of time or you can mute it permanently. Then tap on OK. And the notifications for this conversation are muted permanently.  To unmute any conversation, long press on it. From the menu that appears, tap on the sound icon. And the conversation is now unmuted.
