How to pin a contact on top in whatsapp


Here's how to pin chats on WhatsApp:

1. For Android users, simply long-press on the chat you want to pin and once you do that, a pin icon emerges on the top bar of the app. 
2. Tap on it and the chat will be pinned and placed right on top of all other chats regardless of the messages received on other non-pinned chats.

To mute:   1. At first, open BiP messenger on your phone.  2. Long press on the conversation which notifications you want to mute.  3. Then you will see some new options at the top. Tap the mute icon. Now choose how long you want to mute notifications for this conversation.  4. You can mute it for a specific period of time or you can mute it permanently. Then tap on OK. And the notifications for this conversation are muted permanently.  To unmute any conversation, long press on it. From the menu that appears, tap on the sound icon.
