How to create shortcuts for WhatsApp contacts: 

1. If you don't have a chat for the contact you prefer in the “Chats” tab, then tap on the “New chat” icon at the bottom. 
2. Then tap on the contact you prefer. 
3. Then tap on the three vertical dots at the top right. 
4. Tap on “More,” and hit “Add shortcut,” which you can find beneath “Export chat.

To mute:   1. At first, open BiP messenger on your phone.  2. Long press on the conversation which notifications you want to mute.  3. Then you will see some new options at the top. Tap the mute icon. Now choose how long you want to mute notifications for this conversation.  4. You can mute it for a specific period of time or you can mute it permanently. Then tap on OK. And the notifications for this conversation are muted permanently.  To unmute any conversation, long press on it. From the menu that appears, tap on the sound icon. And the conversation is now unmuted.
